I want to extend a warm welcome to this poem home.
Enjoy your visit and I hope this will be a source of inspiration and encouragement.
Some of my roles include that of mother, grandmother and kindergarten educator (ret.).
Having composed songs for young children throughout my 27 years in the classroom,
I moved more into poetry following that period.
Please feel welcome to share these offerings with others as well.

Air Lift

A light-spun blanket of care woven from past wisdoms
softly covers us as we move quietly on rainbow paths,
with covered bridges filled with warmth and light
connecting
interconnecting
and enveloping
civililties, hopes, visions and truths
that accompany us beyond the alphabets of confines
into the full freedom where spirits know, grow, shine and sparkle,
led and covered by 1000 cranes in full, deep flight.
