I want to extend a warm welcome to this poem home.
Enjoy your visit and I hope this will be a source of inspiration and encouragement.
Some of my roles include that of mother, grandmother and kindergarten educator (ret.).
Having composed songs for young children throughout my 27 years in the classroom,
I moved more into poetry following that period.
Please feel welcome to share these offerings with others as well.

Whispers

With cooling comfort,
gentle breeze,
light-strewn cover,
standing trees.

With soaring thoughts,
and flowing streams,
blending in with soft-filled dreams.

Secret

The secret of true being
is the art of deep seeing
and knowing the truth of the soul.

Faith Leapers

Faith leaps
while doubts crawl and creep.

Faith shines in and out into the world
while doubts cloud, disguise, hide and skulk in the
shadows.

Faith is courage seeking the unknown,
transforming it into the known
while doubts hide from both.

What the unknown knows
is always waiting to be revealed,
with new openings,
fresh pathways
and
discoveries on beyond.

Tranquility

Rocked gently in the universal crib of love and light
two stars come shining through,
softening the darkness with their warm and gentle glow,
heart knowing the way unseen to tranquil shores
and songs of life.

Everflowing streams of time carry lifeboats
past the stormy seas to newfound treasure spots
where faith endures and moves.
