I want to extend a warm welcome to this poem home.

Having composed songs for young children throughout my 27 years in the classroom,
I moved more into poetry following that period.

Light Streams

Softly moving streams of light,
shining in the darkest night.
Coloring in passing by,
lightly moving through the sky.

Brightening, softening the way,
blessing, opening each day.
Wonders wandering here and there,
safely wrapped in loving care.
