I want to extend a warm welcome to this poem home.

Having composed songs for young children throughout my 27 years in the classroom,
I moved more into poetry following that period.

Web

I spin upon the web of life
in colors strong and bold,
weaving stories as I go
in ways both new and old.

Some other webs entangle,
but mine is clean and straight.
